April with the Crows: Brotherhood, Bikes, and Beers

April’s been a busy one for the Celtic Crow MCC — just the way we like it.
We kicked off the month with a blast at the Perranporth Drag and Drift, where the smell of burnt rubber met the sound of roaring engines. A couple of lads showed up interested in what we’re about, and it turns out they were made of the right stuff —
James and Chris have now officially become prospects. Welcome aboard, boys. Good luck earning your feathers, lads.

Mid-month saw our open ride to Sea View Farm, which gave us everything a good ride should: decent company, a proper Cornish downpour, and even a breakdown that tested our grit. Rain or not, we made it through together — no man left behind.
There’s been the usual dose of pub stops and piss-ups. Nothing formal, just the Crow way of enjoying the roads and raising a glass or two when we pull in.
A big shoutout to those patched in at the party with the 81 and Red Chiefs — respect. Solid night, good people, and proper club spirit. Nights like that remind us why we ride and why we wear what we wear.
Meanwhile, our club bike's been getting plenty of mechanical love — oil, sweat, and elbow grease keeping it in shape. Always nice to see brothers wrenching together and sharing know-how.
Further afield, Phooey headed upcountry to the Santa Pod raceway with his partner and kids — sounds like they had a belter of a weekend. It's good to see the family side of the club thriving too.

Our Prez took a little detour over to Ireland, where, by all reports, he drank enough Guinness to be declared legally Irish. Sláinte!
Lastly, we’ve been holding the line at the local bike nights, repping the Crows loud and proud. It’s always good to keep in the mix and connect with other riders in the community.
That’s the wrap for April. The club’s growing, the bikes are running, and the road keeps calling.
Until next month — keep the rubber side down.
